Georgina Handy

Lead Paraplanner

Gina joined the SIP team as a Paraplanner in September 2017 after relocating from Worcester.

She has worked in Financial Services for over 7 years working for large companies based in the West Midlands, and started her career specialising in Auto Enrolment, eventually moving into a Paraplanner role in 2015. Gina is currently studying towards the completion of her Diploma in Financial Planning to complement her degree in Business Management.

Katy Dawes

Senior Paraplanner

Katy joined Self Invested Portfolios in February 2022 as a Trainee Paraplanner.

With a degree in Psychology, and experience in technology start-up companies, Katy began her journey in financial services in June 2018. Starting out as an Administrator and Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at a Partner Practice of St. James’s Place in South Wales, Katy was subsequently promoted to the position of Practice Manager in January 2020. This gave her valuable experience working on a variety of client cases and learning from the ground up.

Katy has achieved the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is looking further her development in paraplanning and wider financial planning fields.

Judith Wickwar

Junior Paraplanner & Admin Support

Judith joined Self Invested Portfolios in July 2013. She comes with previous financial services experience from employment at Rock Financial Consultants and Ascot Lloyd Financial Services.

Judith gained invaluable experience as a Data Analyst during her service in the Royal Air Force which has helped her in her different roles in financial services. Her responsibilities include the review of client portfolio’s, the construction of portfolio recommendation reports, and the implementation of clients decisions in relation to their retirement and investment decisions.

Jess Kidwell

Junior Paraplanner & Admin Support

Jess joined the SIP team in February 2024. Since joining the industry as a junior administrator in July 2019, Jess has developed a solid foundation in financial services, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional client support. Jess is currently pursuing a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is eager to further her expertise within the Paraplanning field.
